"This frame was the result of an experiment from using a 40mm square tool I had made for my power hammer. The tool was used to apply deep texturing, the ribbon was made as a contrast. After polishing, the frame was heated to irridescent blue.The effect, however, is short-lived. Hard handling will scrape it off the high spots and the application of wax destroys it completely by interrupting the refraction of light."
